The minister said that it is important to have field-level planning to bring agro-based industries to the district and to put the plans into action. Minister for MSME and Search Departments Kondapalli Srinivas said that there is a lot of potential for horticultural crops in the district, and there is a high demand for commercial crops, and the government is also providing subsidy on these crops, and extensive publicity should be done on this. He said that the central government is providing assistance under cluster mapping for food processing. As part of this, he said that mango cluster mapping is being done in the district. He said that under the service sector, Sun Ray Resorts has come forward to set up hotels in the tourism sector with Rs 150 crore, GMR with Rs 150 crore and Adani Group with Rs 100 crore at the airport. He also said that proposals have been sent for the development of Tatipudi reservoir with Rs 23 crore under eco-tourism. DCCB Chairman Kimidi Nagarjuna said that the district's tourist centers should be put on the website and tourist destinations should be developed in rural areas as well. District in-charge Minister Anitha revealed that she had adopted a family as part of P4. She said that P4 is not just about financial matters, but can also help in non-financial matters such as education. There are 6700 golden families in the district, and the Minister called on everyone who has the opportunity to come forward to adopt.
