IPhone: China blocks iPhones from being manufactured in India

Just days after the news that tech giant Apple will start manufacturing iPhones in India and that iPhones will be made in India, China has once again demonstrated its intelligence. The Dragon Country has blocked the iPhone manufacturing that was supposed to take place in India from the very beginning. Apple's main manufacturer, Foxconn, has ordered more than 300 Chinese experts and engineers to return home from its manufacturing facilities in India. The incident took place at a time when the company was preparing to produce the iPhone 17 series in India.
China has brought back tech experts
Tech experts say that Apple's goal of increasing iPhone production in India will be affected by bringing back Chinese engineers and technicians. Several reports say that sending these engineers to China is likely to affect the production of iPhone 17. If these conditions are like this, Apple will have to import key equipment from China to increase iPhone production in India.

in the precision needed for quality production. The decision to recall Chinese experts in this regard will lead to a shortage of technicians employed by Foxconn in India. The iPhone plants in India, which opened four years ago, account for a fifth of global production.

Companies like Foxconn and Tata have set up their iPhone manufacturing plants in Tamil Nadu. Foxconn manufactures iPhones at its plant in Sriperumbudur, Chennai, and exports them abroad. Amid rising trade tensions between the US and China, multinational companies are shifting their manufacturing bases to India and other South Asian countries. However, preventing China's dominance in these technologies poses serious challenges to these expansion efforts.
