Ration Cards: Distribution of new ration cards in Telangana today

Today is like a festival for the poor of Telangana state. The dream of ration cards, which has been awaited for ten years,hascome true. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will personally hand over ration cards to 11 beneficiaries at a special program to be organized in Tirumalgiri, Suryapet district today. With this, the government has given a signal that it is standing in favor of the poor.

3.58 lakh new cards across the state

Along with this program, 3.58 lakh new ration cards approved across the state will be distributed to the poor. The beneficiaries are expressing happiness as the cards, which they had already applied for many times but had not received, are now in their hands. These cards will be crucial in providing government grain and essential commodities at low prices.

The total number of cards in the state has crossed 95 lakhs.

With these newly sanctioned cards, the total number of ration cards in the state of Telangana has increased to over 95 lakh. Many are saying that this is another great step taken by the state government towards welfare. Thus, more poor families will have the opportunity to benefit from the government's incentive schemes.
