Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Enumula Revanth Reddy has announced that a Future City will be built in Maheshwaram constituency area in the coming period, making it the 4th city in the world with international standards. On Thursday, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy along with State IT Minister Sridhara Babu inaugurated the Malabar Jays Jewellery manufacturing unit at Maheshwaram Industrial Park in Rangareddy district.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that we are taking planned steps to transform Telangana into a hub in the manufacturing sector, just like in IT, pharma and other sectors , and accordingly, steps are being taken for an electronic cluster on the outskirts of Hyderabad, jewellery manufacturing units in Maheshwaram, and an EV and Defence Hub in Zaheerabad. He explained that we are moving forward as a role model for other states and are building the necessary eco-system ahead of Telangana industries.Future City to be the largest city in 30,000 acresHe said that Hyderabad city will become the largest city in the world. He called on industrialists to bring profitable industries to this state by providing them with the necessary infrastructure to develop industries around Hyderabad city and protecting their investments. He said that in the financial year 2023-24, the growth rate of Telangana's secondary sector (manufacturing, constructions, electricity, gas, water supply) was 9.6 percent, while the national average was only 8.3 percent. He hoped that this Malabar Gems and Jewellery company would move forward and be at the forefront by providing job opportunities to the locals.

IT Minister Duddilla Sridhara Babu said that he was very happy to see the newly launched Malabar Gems and Jewelry manufacturing unit coming to this area and he believed that the launched Malabar manufacturing unit would make Telangana a hub for the development of the manufacturing sector. He informed that this company should come forward to set up a furniture manufacturing unit in Telangana and that the government would cooperate in all ways. He asked such organizations to join hands with the state government to provide skill development training to the youth of Telangana. He clarified that his government's intention is to make the Telangana state economy a trillion dollar economy by 2035. TGIIC Chairman Nirmala Reddy, Malabar Groups Chairman M.P. Ahmed, Vice Chairman Salim, Executive Director Nishad AK, Legislative Council members, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, District Collector C. Narayana Reddy, local leaders KLR 789+ and others participated in this meeting.
