Kerala Student: Two planes collide, two pilot students die

A tragic accident took place in Manitoba, Canada on Tuesday morning.Two student pilots lost their lives in aplane collision incident involving two small planes during training. Among the dead was 23-year-old Srihari Sukesh from Kerala. The news has caused great grief not only for his family but also for the entire country. On the day of the incident, two Cessna aircraft belonging to Harvey's Air PilotTraining School in Ottawa were flying as training flights. The aircraft, which were flying for takeoff and landing practice, came to land at the same time and collided with each other. The accident took place a few hundred meters apart on the mini runway.

CBS News reported that the accident was caused by the two students' inability to see each other, despite the fact that both planes had radios. The two students died at the scene of the accident. The bodies were recovered by local police.

The Consulate General of India, in a statement, said that Srihari Sukesh hails from Kochi, Kerala. Indian authorities have come forward to provide necessary assistance to the victim's family regarding the cremation. "Contacts are ongoing with the family members, the training school and the local police," they said.

Srihari is a young man who went to Canada with the dream of becoming a pilot. But that dream ended in failure. His parents were devastated when he lost his life while trying to fulfill his dream. The incident is raising questions about the safety standards at pilot training institutes.
