On the day of the incident, two Cessna aircraft belonging to Harvey's Air PilotTraining School in Ottawa were flying as training flights. The aircraft, which were flying for takeoff and landing practice, came to land at the same time and collided with each other. The accident took place a few hundred meters apart on the mini runway.
