Yemen: Yemeni nurse Nimisha Priya sentenced to death – Indian government tries to save her

Kerala nurse Nimisha Priyahasbeen sentenced to death in Yemen. Nimisha Priya has been sentenced to death in the case of murdering her business partner. She is currently in prison in the Yemeni capital, Sanaa. Nimisha killed her business partner in 2017. A Yemeni court sentenced her to death in 2020. Nimisha Priya is from Kollengod in Palakkad district of Kerala. She went to Yemen in 2008. She worked as a nurse in Yemeni hospitals. Later, she started a small clinic. A local partner is mandatory to do business in Yemen.

Efforts to save Nimisha..
The Indian government is making serious efforts to save the executed Kerala nurse. She is in talks with local authorities to stop the execution. This is the only way to save Minisha at the moment. If this does not work out, she will definitely be executed.
