Hyderabad:Dakshina Telangana Electricity Distribution Company Chairman and Managing Director Musharraf Farooqui has directed the officials to be constantly available to the consumers andto visit the bastis and colonies every Wednesday andconduct face-to-face programs with the people. In this regard, a meeting was held with the Chief Engineers, Superintending Engineers and DEs at the company's headquarters in Mint Compound on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, the CMD said thatcurrently there are 8681.11 KV feeders under the company,out of which 6885 feeders are under the Feeder Outage Management System, and the remaining feeders will also be covered by this system. Details of electricity demand, supply and outages will be recorded online and the relevantAI-based services at the distribution level to alert engineersHe said that AI-based services will help in identifying supply and faults at the field level and providing better services. Similarly, he said that power supply should be monitored at the distribution transformer level every day, and the Divisional Engineer and Superintending Engineer should pay special attention to feeders and DTMs that often face problems.

He also suggested that they should personally visit the field level and take necessary steps. Especially in the Greater Hyderabad area, the demand for electricity is increasing drastically year by year and reports should be prepared by August 15 on the steps to be taken accordingly.
