US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Monday departed for a multi-nation trip to the Indo-Pacific that will take her to India, Japan, and Thailand. In a post on X, Gabbard, who practices Hinduism, said: “I am wheels up on a multi-nation trip to the Indo-Pacific.
It is important to build strong relationships, understanding, and open lines of communication— a region I know very well as I grew up in the Pacific. I will be visiting Japan, Thailand, and India, with a brief stop in France on my way back to DC,” Tulsi Gabbard said. “Building strong ties, understanding, and open lines of communication is critical to achieving President Trump’s objectives of peace, freedom, and prosperity.”
