Parliament Sessions: Congress' strategy to corner the Center!

The Congress party will implement a key strategy in the monsoon sessionof Parliament, which will begin from July 21.It is planning to raise issues like the Pahalgam terror attack, Operation Sindhur, the national security situation, and the ongoing uncertainty over the revocation of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir. The Congress hopes to challenge the central government's stance on these issues in Parliament.

Focus on unemployment and farmer issues

The rising unemployment problem in the country and the crisis faced by farmers are also among the main issues that the Congress will raise. It is moving forward with a strategy of accusing the Centre of failing to provide employment opportunities to the youth. It also intends to bring to the attention of the government issues like not getting proper support prices for farmers and increasing cultivation costs.

Impeachment motion... politically heated

Another key development in these sessions is that an impeachment motion against Allahabad High Court judge Yashwant Verma, who is facing corruption charges, is likely to be introduced in Parliament. If this motion comes up for discussion, it could lead to strong discussions between the constitutional bodies. The Congress party is also preparing to use this as a key strategy.
