He said that they have fulfilled the job promise given in the last five years (2020-25). He revealed that a total of 50 lakh people have been provided employment. He said that 10 lakh people have been provided jobs in the government sector and the remaining 39 lakh people have been provided employment opportunities in the private sector.
Goal of one crore jobs
Nitish Kumar announced the next target. He revealed that his government's main target is to provide one crore jobs in the next five years. He said that an action plan is being prepared to achieve this target through the public sector, private sector, startups, agriculture and self-employment programs. Nitish said that his government's goal is to provide stable employment to the youth.
Criticism of political temptations ahead of elections
The opposition parties have criticized Nitish Kumar's promises. They accuse him of trying to attract the youth with big promises before the elections. They are demanding clarity with comprehensive figures on the fulfillment of past promises. However, Nitish Kumar is making it clear that he has fulfilled every word he said and is committed to providing better opportunities in the future.
